STRESS

Our life is wonderful yet it is very mystery. We never know what will happen and we simply can not imagine what we will go through on the next day. Actually that is very natural for a human being and as a human we are very limited. Above all of that, human is still a very unique creature. Our moods are changeable, sometimes it was happy or joy and sometimes it was bad or hard. There are many things that can affect our mood; one of them is when we feel stress. Stress is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way. The stress response is the body’s way of protecting you. When working properly, it helps you stay focused, energetic, and alert. In emergency situations, stress can save your life - giving you extra strength to defend yourself, for example, or spurring you to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident. The stress response also helps you rise to meet challenges. Stress is what keeps you on your toes during a presentation at work, sharpens your concentration when you’re attempting the game-winning free throw, or drives you to study for an exam when you'd rather be watching TV.

Firstly, physical effects of stress are what we can realize easily. Stress causes our immune system to become weakening. A simple cold can become the flu or a lung infection with a stress person. In addition,  stress can cause  sleep problems and tiredness, which can go on to produce mood swings and hot temper. Stress also has a big effect on how our internal organs work. For example, the heart beats faster and the blood pressure increases during a stressful period. Secondly, psychological or emotional effects of stress also result on us in a bad way. We lose interest in our day-to-day activities because of stress. We are not able to focus on one thing. Other psychological effect of stress is losing power of discrimination. Our mind stops working correctly and we are not able to decide what is good and what is bad. Depression is also one of the main psychological effects of stress. To summarize, stress has negative effects on our health.

The second effect of stress is the declining of work productivity and study result.Working people who are under stress is hard to focus on their work, they seem to be easy to lose their temper and become irritable. Also, dynamic staffs may become apathetic in their work because the staffs get tired and depressed to work; the work productivity reduces remarkable. In addition, stress cause students falling in  academic performance. The stress sufferers are not able to pay attention to the lesson at school as well as at home. So, getting high mark is very difficult to them.

One of most important effect of stress on quality of life is that lifespan becomes lower. Because of stress, many serious diseases arise and become harmful to people’s health as heart’s disease, cancer, brain and so on and all of these diseases could make one’s health be worst and  life expectancy releases. Moreover, stress also effects on family life. When you are stressful, it makes you feel cranky and unable to deal with even small problems as housework, or taking care of children. Sometimes, it makes you feel frustrated, lose your temper more often, and yell at others for no reason. Since then, relationship between members in family is reduced. Besides that, stress effects on community life. Actually, when you have stress, your brain is always passive; everything seems to be terrible, and everything you have done is meaningless. You do not want to communicative with anyone even though they are your best friends, relatives, and neighbours and so on. This will be dangerous because you may get depression.

Stress is really a disease that affects all of us living in a modern world. We can assume that everyone had suffered stress. It does have powerful  negative effects on our self as well towards people around us. In order to live better in the future, it is essential to look this problem very serious and try to solve it. Always calm and pray to God are good treatment yet simple way for us to live in better life. The major concern is some people think that stress is a natural problem that everyone had suffered but have they ever wonder what will happen if nobody ever tries to overcome this problem. Do we want to live in a stressful life or being surrounding by a ‘mindless mass of zombies’ society?

Social problems among teenagers

Yesterday, we are served by unsettling problems created by teenagers. Tomorrow, we will find a solution on how to revert these problems into zero. And now, we need to gather information and method to create a better tomorrow. There are a lot of social problems among teenagers. Here, we will discuss about this matter.

Living in modern days and being exposed too much towards technology has bad consequences towards teenagers. They are facing with such difficult task of discovering their identities, identifying their sexual roles, defining the meaning of independence, learning to cope with rules and searching their goals towards their success. Internet and gaming addiction has become crucial problem nowadays. Online social account has proved that the teenagers wasting time on their life. Spending time too much on internet also increase the potential they will surf the pornographic site. Most of them are underage, so it is a main concern towards public. Gaming is a fun thing and the teenagers adore towards the fun things. Addiction towards it will result on wasting times and they do not have enough time for other things, most importantly on their studies.  Limitation needs in this context. No limitation means bad consequences will appear.

Another problem that may concern the public is bad culture. The teenagers easily influenced and they have short minded problem. Bad culture such as smoking, alcoholic, ‘mat rempit’, drug addiction, baby dumping  and many more is increasing each year and not showing any sign of decreasing. This has become a major concern for everyone. This problem is a related problem which means once they involved in one of bad culture list here, there will be a probability for them to involve on another problem. For information, some teenagers who are involved in drug addict turn leads to depression and suicide. Bad culture is very general. Another kind of bad culture are vandalism and disrespectful towards the people. As example damage the property at school or in public. Some teenagers do not care towards the others privacy such as they play music very loud and in some cases they fighting each other in public. These proved their disrespectful towards the other people. One more thing, some of them involve in violent in media which means they abuse the media mostly in internet. They give the wrong information, allegations towards innocent people and threatening somebody on internet. This abuse include by uploading cruel video or picture such as they are fighting or beating someone. Some of them are proud with that video or picture and never felt wrong with that action.
Everything that happened always has its own causes. There are several factors that trigger these social problems among teenagers. Most people will question the parents or blame on them when these problem occur. Lack of parent’s intention can conclude as one of the main factor towards these problems. Friends are really important in teenager’s life. They meet each other almost every day and of course they often hang out together. From my view, friends are the subject who influences the teenagers making decision, the way of their thinking and building confident. Mixing and associates with bad friends will inspired to be a bad person and lead to bad behaviours. Technologies make our life better and everything is in good shape. However, it also can bring negative impacts. Abusing of technologies among teenagers is a big concern. The unnecessary websites influence the teenagers to be a bad teenager.  Internal problem towards their selves also can brings this problem occur. Lack of confident, easy influenced and short minded are the example of the internal problem. As a teenager, they always face this kind of problem. They have tendency to do a bad things when they are facing this internal problem.

To build a better life tomorrow we need some solution towards this problem. Parent’s attention is really important in a family. Parents are the first person to teach their children about the good and bad in this life. They need to prepare a good education for their children. Education is very important and can make their children easily to deal with problem on their life. Under a good parental guidance, it is impossible to having bad teenagers. It is possible and good idea if a campaign about how to guide and teach children is creates to enlightening the parents. Other than that, the teenagers need to know their friends well. Friends are a supporter and also act as mirror for them. They needs to associates with a good and kind friends so they will inspired to be a good person and can recognize which is good and bad behaviours. Teenagers and technologies cannot be separated. They born and lived in technologies period, fast learning and expert in technologies. They should know the limitation on using technologies. They need to remember that they still have a long journey. They have to focus on their studies and try to achieve their goals to success in their life. Finally, they should know how to deal with the problems. They need to relax and refresh the mind to fight the problem. They have to educate and behave themselves.  They must try to act as matured person so that they will not involve in other social problem.

We live as who we are and we act as our self in this world. The most important in life is our self. We have to guide our self. This social problem among teenagers is a big concern for all of us. Everyone should gather around and try to overcome this problem.
